Daniel Rogers


Daniel has spent the past few years working with individuals experiencing substance use disorders and co-occurring illnesses. He began his work in the field as a house manager for a sober living facility in New York after receiving his certification as a recovery coach. Daniel is currently working to obtain his mental health counseling licensure at New York University. As a former client at Legacy, Daniel developed a strong passion for helping individuals who share a similar experience to himself.


Over the past year, Daniel has worked to educate families, individuals, hospitals and educational settings as to the benefits associated with adventure based therapy. He is passionate about raising awareness through an emphasis on current research in the field. Daniel currently resides in New York. He believes in the importance of family, healthy relationships and self-care activities to achieve fulfillment and wellness in ones life. Most recently, Daniel began an internship at Weill-Cornell Medical Center, specializing in addressing substance use disorders and trauma across a diverse population.
